De molen Edens, ook wel bekend als De Volharding is gebouwd in 1763 en is een type Stellingmolen, achtkantig, gemaakt voor het malen van koren.
Het is een vrij grote molen midden in het centrum en daarom een belangrijk aangezicht voor de stad Winschoten.
Er zijn regelmatig molendagen in de regio Oost-Groningen en bijna wekelijks is De Volharding op zaterdagmiddag geopend voor het publiek. De molenaar laat u graag al het historische vernuft zien.
