De jachthaven ligt op slechts 5 minuten van het centrum van Winschoten en is zowel over het water als over de weg prima te bereiken.
Naast 100 ligplaatsen heeft de jachthaven ook 10 camperplaatsen beschikbaar, met alle voorzieningen.
Winschoten heeft veel bezienswaardigheden en het is een gezellige stad om te winkelen.
De Rensel is een verlengde van het Winschoterdiep en eindigt bijna in het centrum van Winschoten bij de Renselkade en de Havenkade-West.
