Dit schip licht in het pekelderhoofddpiep of zoals vroeger dit water hete, de pekel aa.
Het schip valt onder het Veenkoloniaal museum te Veendam.
Het is nog het enige turfschip die de provincie rijk is.
Voorstuwing kan per zeil of met een _lamme arm_ Een soort buitenboord motor.
In de winter is de thuishaven tegenover het kapiteinshuis in Nieuwe pekela.
