De havenkade van Winschoten heeft een rijke historie. Zo staan er een aantal monumentale panden zoals het oude pakhuis en expeditiekantoor en de oude tramwerkplaats. Het kanaal de Rensel loopt vanaf het Winschoterdiep tot aan de Renselhaven in Winschoten.
