In Bad Nieuweschans vindt u vlakbij de brug en het spoor het voormalige graanpakhuis uit 1946. Schepen en treinen konden hier vroeger graan laden wat van het Groningse land af kwam.
De silo is een rijksmonument maar er nog nog wel wat opgeknapt worden.
