Doorkijkje vanaf de vestinggracht naar de Hoofdwacht. De Hoofdwacht in Vesting Nieuweschans is een monument uit 1631. Het was tot in de 19e eeuw in gebruik als hoofdwachtlokaal waarvoor de wacht elk uur ceremonieel werd gewisseld. Het gebouw is in authentieke staat en een bezienswaardigheid in Bad Nieuweschans.
