Zaterdag 5 september 2015, werd er op het veld van VV Bellingwolde een afscheidswedstrijd gespeeld, Frans Korte, Teije Louis, Koos Veen, Geert Katuin en Johannes Cordes namen afscheid van het voetbal. Spelers die jaren lang bij de VV Bellingwolde hadden gevoetbald.
